Abstract
- The article presents a study regarding the use of the E2 soluble recombinant protein as antigen in indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the detection of antibodies against classical swine fever virus (CSFV). Western blotting analysis was used to demonstrate the antigenicity of the recombinant protein and was purified by glutathione sepharose 4B resin chromatography. Results indicate that rE2-ELISA is suitable for large scale monitoring of CSF.
