Since the passage of P.L. 94-142, the Education for All Handicapped Children's Act in 1975, numerous court cases pertaining to students with physical disabilities and health impairments have been decided. This article is a compilation of the most significant decisions that have impacted services. Teachers and related service providers who are responsible for the education of students with physical disabilities and health impairments should let case law and best practice guide the development of the IEP and the delivery of services.
