Chapter 6 of the book "Deeds for California Real Estate" by Mary Randolph is presented. Information on recording the real estate transfer deed which includes preparing a change of ownership statement, change of ownership report and then taking the deed and tax statements to the recorder at the County's recording office, is presented. Sample cover letter for the Recording Deed (RD) and a recording checklist, are also presented.
