Abstract
- The article provides guidelines for dentists on when to refer patients to a specialist. It states that the physical or personality traits of the patient is a valid reason to refer a patient as well as the ability of the patient to understand the treatment. It notes that dentists without training should not place implants in order to avoid possible problems.
