Abstract
- The article discusses several issues concerning the fishing industry in Australia as of September 2010. It reports that the Australian elections are not going well for the Labor Party due to infighting within its ranks. The government of New South Wales, in an attempt to save their coalition, has begun courting the fishing industry and distancing themselves from the Greens environmental party. The British Petroleum oil spill has finally been capped, but with a substance that is banned in Europe.
