Expanding research opportunities for the cooperative.

The article discusses how Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) Research interacts with the global research community, which can be divided into three categories, namely, funding, collaboration and support. It notes that an important aspect of the mission of the Research is to link its activities to those taking place outside OCLC, and to contribute toward the advancement of a community-wide research agenda which benefit libraries, archives and museums. It emphasizes that collaboration is an important component of several Research activities.
