La traduction des archaïsmes du Don Quichotte.

A literary criticism of the book "Don Quichotte," by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra is presented. It examines and comments on how French translators confronted the book's archaism, a form of speech or writing no longer current, over a period of four centuries. The authors discuss Cervantes's archaism and Spanish language archaism during 1605 including the hero's name referred to as Quijada and Quijote. The use of the terms sobrenombre and yantar are also examined.
