Abstract
- An interview is presented with Austrian conductor Franz Welser-Möst, the conductor of the Cleveland, Ohio Orchestra. When asked about the impact of the 2008-2009 global financial crisis on his orchestra's performance tours, Welser-Möst described the city's careful economic practice since the 1960s. Further topics discussed included the orchestra's endowment fund, the orchestra's quality as compared to European orchestras, and the orchestra's repertoire.
