The article examines the role of technology transfers and adaptation at the United Nation's annual conference on climate change in Cancun, Mexico, in December 2010. The goal of technology transfer within the Cancun agreement is to distribute resources for adapting to changing climates. The development of a Technology Executive Committee and a Climate Technology Center are part of the two-tier system of the Cancun agreement.
