Abstract
- The article features dairy farmers Mike and Erice Thomas of Murchison, New Zealand. During the 1970s, the couple bought their parents' 48-cow dairy farm along with 100 sheep that grazed on lush pasture. Their business grew to encompass two dairy farms milking 1410 cows and now includes their son and daughter. Information on their farms' production, target and number of milking cows is provided.
