Abstract

An interview with Glenn Anthony, vice president of sales at Emrican Pulverizer Co., is presented. He points out that shredding equipment makers focus on small shredding plants to get more value from processing activities and the need for a shredder that fits into smaller facilities. He notes that customers are buying 60 series mills after discovering that it can process in excess of 8,000 tons per month without sacrificing nonferrous recovery. He states that smaller yards are still the best market for small shredders.
