Abstract

The article discusses a research study on the use of gene coexpression network analysis in defining gene expression network topology of hypertrophy, cardiac development and heart failure. Assembled in the Gene Expression Omnibus were myocardial transcript data of 1617 subjects focusing on murine dataset by deriving functional modules, higher-order topological relationships and regulatory mediators. Findings revealed that 6% of 50 feral gene coexpression modules were seen in hypertrophied myocardium while 14% were seen in failing myocradium.
