Abstract
- The article focuses on dairy farm owners Scott and Chantal Hindrup of Wreys Bush, New Zealand. The Hindrups have packed a lot of living into their lives before setting down in Southland to become part of the dairy industry. They are managing a 50:50 sharemilking position on a 118 hectare Wreys Bush farm in 2009. To understand dairying at the top level, the couple entered dairying competitions. They are planning to construct mega-ponds capable of taking several weeks of effluent.
