Abstract

Information about Trevor Phillips, the chairman of the Commission for Racial Equality (CRE) in 2006, is presented. He was born in London, England on December 31, 1953 and studied at Queen's College in Guyana and Imperial College. He worked as research personnel for London Weekend Television (LWT) and became a senior executive at British Broadcasting Corp. (BBC). He also wrote the book "Windrush: Irresistible Rise of Multi-racial Britain" in 1998.
