Abstract

The article presents research on the use of ischemic preconditioning (IP) in postponing and suppressing integrin aVB3 mRNA expresssion. The role of integrin aVB3 in IP has rarely been reported thought previous studies have focused on it in ischemic brain damage. The effects of IP on integrin aVB3 mRNA expression has been analyzed following cerebral ischemia. The integrin expression in the ischemia group was observed to have peaked at 24 hours after ischemia-reperfusion.
