Abstract

The article discusses the case of an 8-year-old crossbred beef cow which was referred to the Indiana Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory at Purdue University for a necropsy. The cow was suffering from severe myonecrosis in the skeletal muscles and mild in the heart and tongue. The cow was later diagnosed of having white snakeroot poisoning.
