Abstract: The article presents a study which examined the concentration and resuspension-subsidence movement of suspension after storm in the NingJin sea area in China based on measured data. The suspension concentration was found to be higher than that under normal weather. Local sediment resuspended during storm and coarse particles settled quickly after storms and a lot of fine particles on the tidal flat in Shidao Bay transported to Ning-Jin Sea.
