China-North Korea Relations.

This article presents a chapter from the book "The Survival of North Korea." It provides a brief survey of Sino-North Korea relations, examines China's objectives and actions, and raises policy issues for U.S. involvement. It shows how China's shared interest has enabled it to maintain its military alliance and continues its substantial trade and economic assistance to North Korea.
