Abstract

The article focuses on the convenience brought by New Visual Studio Async CTP to asynchronous programming. The author clarifies the role of concurrency in making more responsive programs and the same time describes the issues involved in callbacks. Particular focus is also given to the right time in using DoEvents and on the proper way of using task-based asynchrony.
