The author contends that the 2011 riots in London, England were the inevitable consequence of the neglect of youth by their parents, schools and the British government. It is argued that the anarchy during the riots had nothing to do with the initial issue of a man being shot dead by the police. The steady development of an underclass for many years due to the government's fealty to liberal economics is also considered.
