Abstract
- The article focuses on Syrian Oil Minister Sufian Allaw who said that the imposed U.S. and European Union (EU) sanctions led to the reduction in Syrian oil production from 380,000 barrels per day (b/d) to 270,000 b/d. It mentions that 28% of annual Syrian revenue is from sales of their oil output, 95% of which is bought by Europe. It also notes the delegation sent by Syria to companies in Indonesia, India and Malaysia for the marketing of their oil products.
