Abstract

The article presents a study of surgical management of a 350-gram (g) and a 15x8-centimeter (cm) enterolith in an 11-month-old stallion. It states that the horse underwent exploratory laparotomy and surgical exteriorization to remove the enterolith. It states that No. 2 chromic catgut was used to close the laparotomy wound, while polyamide No. 2 (Linex) was utilized to close the skin. It states that daily wound dressing was performed, and the horse totally recovered in 15 days.
