Abstract
- The article reports that the newspaper "Canarsie Courier" is facing a battle from News Corp.'s "Canarsie Digest." The readership and advertising in the "Canarsie Courier" have undergone a transformation with a change in the demography of the Canarsie section of Brooklyn borough in New York City. Five years ago, when News Corp. bought its longtime competitor, the Digest, the "Canarsie Courier" went its traditional route and gave the news straight.
