The article presents a study that assesses the vulnerability of the ecosystem to invasive rusty crayfish, Orconectes rusticus. The study utilizes the freshwater-rich landscapes of Wisconsin to develop a model for invasive rusty crayfish. It also provides stakeholders with flexibility to prioritize sites for prevention efforts given a maximum level of acceptable risk or based on budgetary or time restrictions.
