Abstract

The article offers information on the creation of bicycles as rewards to the pursuit bicycle team in Australia who won gold medal during the World Championship in 1993. It says that Charlie Walsh, chief of the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) program, has instructed bicycle maker Bryan Hayes to make eight bicycles for the riders to commemorate the cycling event. It also presents the insights of bicycle rider Billy Joe Shearsby for being one of the cyclists who receives the bicycle grant.
