Abstract
- An interview with Cemil Sayar, technical director of SunExpress, is presented. When asked the influence of founders Deutsch Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines on technical operations, he mentions that their technical operations have benefited from their experience and know-how. Sayar states that SunExpress operates 28 737-800s and that SunExpress Deutschland started operations in June 2011. He explains that typical contract lengths are based on the maintenance stage of the aircraft.
