Abstract
- The article discusses a case filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut by Cheryl Ellis and Gena Hamilton, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated against General Revenue Corp. alleging violation of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act. As stated, the borrowers were misinformed on the federal loan rehabilitation program. The court granted plaintiff's motion for class certification.
