Abstract
- The article focuses on the origin and possible solution for the drafting error in Section 43 (c)(6) of the Lanham Act. It states about the proposed amendment which promotes greater consistency in federal trademark law and increases the protection of famous marks, and also reveals the legislative history of the federal registration defense. It further states the limitation of current dilution law which is not that good in protection of famous marks.
