Abstract
- The article reports on a conference on religious aspects of sports from the perspective of sociology, held November 25-27, 2010 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Topics discussed included the symbolic and social dimensions of the body in religion and in sports, the effect of modernization on religion and sports, and the role of sports in the lives of immigrants.
