The article presents criticism on the motion picture "A Dangerous Method," directed by David Cronenberg. It analyzes the transformation of the character of Sabina Spielrein, a young woman who had hysterical symptoms and became a psychoanalyst after meeting psychiatrist Carl Jung and psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud. The relation of Freud and Jung as shown in the film is analyzed. The notion of subjectivity is explored.
