Abstract
- The article discusses the presentation given by Environmental Packaging International President Victor Bell about extended producer responsibility (EPR), as part of the Paper Stock Industries Chapter of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. track at the 2011 Paper Recycling Conference in October in Chicago, Illinois. Bell explained the EPR legislation passed in many U.S. states including Maine and Iowa. The effect of EPR on brand owners is also explored.
