2011 NARFE'S YEAR IN REVIEW.

This article looks back at the operation of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) in 2011. The NARFE celebrated its 90th anniversary in February. The association held the 31st Biennial National Convention in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It urged members to focus on issues raised in the U.S. Congress, including proposals to reduce spending, the president's budget, the congressional budget resolution and the debt limit.
