Abstract
- The article reports on the sum spent by the Detroit Tigers, a major league baseball team for their 2012 season in Detroit, Michigan. It has estimated a 132 million dollars on the players' payroll and another 10 million dollars on a scoreboard and Comerica Park renovations in pursuit of the franchise's World Series title. It asserts that when the team performs remarkably as predicted, the franchise would land itself in a new territory of how to reward players and who to keep in the team.
