Abstract

The authors explore the association between six single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) linked with iloperidone therapy response and risperidone therapy response in patients with schizophrenia. SNPs GRIA4 rs2513265 and XKR4 rs9643483 were associated with change in Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) total response. African American patients have PANSS total scores of 13.9 and 12.5 for XKR4 and GRIA4, respectively. White patients had PNSS total scores of 21.4 for XKR4 and 20.9 for GRIA4.
