Abstract
- The article focuses on the notion of openness in the case of Soviet author Andrei Platonov's works. It states that the openness in the work of art depends on the relationship between the intention of the author and the reception by the audience. It discusses the connection between developments in the study of his practice as a writer and reflections on the significance of his texts for readers. It also discusses the publication of his works such as "Dzhan" and "Kotlovan" in various editions.
