Abstract

The article discusses the risks and complications involved during cataract surgery in patients taking Alpha-1 antagonist. The study reveals that alpha-1 receptor antagonists used in the treatment of urinary tract disorders create a problem in ophthalmic surgery. It is found that Alpha-blockers have a direct effect on the alpha-receptors of the iris. INSET: KEY MESSAGES.
