Abstract
- The article presents a study that determines the effectiveness of organic acids in preventing Salmonella enterica serovars Enteritidis (SE) and Minnesota (SM) in broilers. It details the method of the study that observes broilers that were challenged with SE and SM that were feed with organic acids through their food and drinks. It notes the findings of the study which shows that organic acids in diet and drink water of the broilers reduced the spread of SM. It also concludes the effectiveness of using organic acids in controlling both SE and SM.
