Abstract
- The article presents a study which aims to use innovation implementation theory to describe the factors and conditions which facilitate or hamper the enforcement of person-centered care in nursing homes. The study utilizes data which were gathered from the Person-Centered Care Program carried out by the Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence. It recommends that high-quality management communications can be linked with effective implementation of organization-wide change in nursing homes.
