Abstract

The article focuses on a study to check whether autonomic nervous system activity during sleep is related to fasting glucose or glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) in individuals under normal or impaired fasting glucose tolerance conditions. It informs that 77 Japanese healthy workers were examined under high frequency (HF) and the ratio of low frequency to high frequency (LF/HF) obtained by pulse wave analysis to estimate the autonomic nervous system activity.
