Abstract
- This section offers news briefs related to sericulture field days in India as of April 2012. A field day organized by Research Extension Centre, Samayanallur and the Department of Sericulture explained the need for good quality bivoltine cocoons to farmers in Sanarpatti. A field day-cum-exhibition on muga culture was organized at MSSO, P3 Unit, Jia in Arunachal Pradesh. Another field day on muga culture was organized by P3 Unit, Muga Silkworm Seed Organization, Adokgiri in Meghalaya.
