Hemi-Laminectomy for the Treatment of Posterior Paralysis in a Dog.

The article describes the case of a 3-month-old Boxer puppy with posterior paralysis that was subjected to hemi-laminectomy. A brief review of literature on hemi-laminectomy is given. The puppy, presented to the Veterinary College Hospital in Bangalore, India, was reported to have a history of not bearing weight on hind limbs and spinal abnormalities at the lumbar region. It describes in detail the hemi-laminectomy procedure performed on the puppy.
