Abstract
- The article discusses the literary school of imaginismo, a literary movement that occurred in Chile during the early 20th century, within the context of cross-cultural mixing. This mestizaje, which applied not only to social relations but also to art in the forms of song, poetry, and theater, is analyzed in the article primarily through Chilean poetry. The author asserts that imaginismo should be viewed in its entirety as a social phenomenon rather than solely an artistic movement.
