Abstract
- The article discusses the revival of Confucian thought to unite China's damaged social fabric. According to Zhang Lifan, a former researcher at the Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing, China, government officials hope to make good use of Confucianism but fear criticism for reviving it. Qufu, a town where Confucius was born, is the center of the new cultural revolution.
