Abstract
- The article discusses the importance of determining the degree of student engagement in the school which were found to have a greater effect on achievement as compared to learning experiences and higher-order thinking. It states that unmotivated students show diminished interest in the ability to learn and poor results in the standardized tests which will also impact the school standing. It mentions that the Instructional Practices Inventory enables the collection of student engagement data.
