Abstract
- Information about issues discussed at a hearing with the New New York (NY) Education Reform Commission in Long Island, New York in 2012 is presented. It notes that New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) president Dick Lannuzzi and vice-president Maria Neira have urged the commission to focus on the implementation of Common Care Learning Standards and teacher/principal evaluation system. Moreover, a hearing-impaired student cites the need for common-sense testing accommodations.
