Abstract
- The article mentions a study which compared the effects of complex decongestive physiotherapy (CDP) and conventional bandaging (CB) on the postamputation edema of geriatric transtibial amputees. CDP was found to be effective in the reduction of postamputation stump edema in geriatric amputees and it was also beneficial to shorten the transition duration to permanent prostheses.
