Abstract
- The article presents a first person biography of the 19th-century resident of El Paso County, Texas Lewellyn H. Davis. Details are given outlining Davis' birth in Michigan in 1854 and his emigration to El Paso in 1881. Davis describes his impressions upon his arrival in El Paso. Accounts are then given noting Davis' careers as an attorney, journalist, and justice of the peace.
