Abstract

The article informs that proprioceptive feedback contributes to the choice of the preferred movement pattern during cyclical tasks. It mentions that proprioception is defined as the sense of the body's motion or position and feedback from proprioceptive sensors also can directly contribute to muscle activity. It mentions that proprioceptive feedback can be disrupted by neurological disease or injury.
