Abstract
- The article presents the author's views about the knowledge of English playwright William Shakespeare of places in Greece. It highlights the interest of Shakespeare in the eastern and northern parts of the country as depicted in his writings which include "Comedy of Errors," "Othello," and "The Tempest." It argues that the playwright deserved wider recognition for his knowledge in Greek geography since it implied his deep concern with early modern ideology.
