Abstract

The article presents a study which examines the possibility that small businesses can create more jobs quickly than large corporations, and may help to retard crimes against people, property, and society in the U.S. It explores other benefits of small business activity aside from job creation. It investigates the relationship between economic cycles and crime, which said to influence business activity and performance, particularly their effect on small business. It uses correlation analysis to examine the said theory.
